Management for Natural & Industrial Hazards B
Strengths currently building RCA model for NE BC
Limitations Data/results not currently available for general use; a number of sites in NE BC, esp around Hudson Hope, Tumbler Ridge, Liard area and very NE corner associated with Mackenzie River project
Challenges Ph. contact with Stephanie Strachan (Env Can Biomonitoring Coordinator) - NE BC is special project funded for 4 years by NRCAN, when funding complete, data will be forwarded to provincial biologists. No results available yet. Year 1 (2010-11) baseline inventory of available water quality data in region [unclear if that inventory report is available]; Sampling 2012-2015 (both biomonitoring and chemical/physical water quality) with final report to be completed by March 2016.
