This report presents the results of an overview hydrological assessment of the Thynne Creek watershed, located approximately 32km north-west of Princeton within the Merritt Forest District. The main purpose of the report is to assess the cumulative hydrologic impact of historical and proposed forest harvesting in the watershed. In addition, however, the hydrologic impact of a large wildfire in 1998, known as the Lawless Fire, is also assessed. The fire affected a large portion of the watershed and is a prominent feature of the landscape. watershed assessment, ECA, peak flow, riparian, erosion |
