This report provides a review of 20 years of study within the Upper Penticton Creek Watershed (UPCW). The UPCW study is a paired catchment investigation into the effects of logging on runoff regimes, the water balance, and water quality and aquatic parameters. Hydrologic modeling was also completed using the Distributed Hydrologic Soil Vegetation Model (DHSVM). This review provides technically sound and current information on Penticton Creek. This document is very useful for background information and for an understanding into the effects that land-use changes (i.e.. logging) have on runoff regimes and water quality in the Okanagan Basin. forest harvest, streamflow, peak flow, water yield, modelling, water quality, water balance |
