Summit Environmental Consultants Ltd. (Summit) was retained by International Forest Products Ltd, Adams Lake Lumber Division to assess the channel conditions and restoration opportunities in the Upper Momich watershed. The work - which comprised both office work and a field reconnaissance trip - is consistent with the guidelines presented in the Interior Watershed Assessment Procedure Guidebook (MOF, 1999). Channel, landslide and road crossing conditions were examined in the field for the purpose of: 1) Assessing channel condition and sensitivity; 2) Identifying potential channel restoration opportunities within the watershed; 3) Commenting on future harvesting opportunities.
