Abstract/Description or Keywords | Because of importan role hydroynamicnvestigation i multi-ayer aquifer sytem with complex surface sytem plays in water sutainbilty, multipe isotpic anlysincluding Deutrium, oxygen 18wer employed to identify the groundwaterecharge, mixng, surface water and groundwater interactions and mountain sytem recharge distrbutions in Northern Okangan comprisng of Dep Crek watershed and Fortune Crek watershed. The stable isotpicompositons profiles of surface waters indcatehat Dep Crek obtains water fom localnd regional aquifers in dry seaons, Fortune Crek recives groundwater fom regionalquifers in the main valey in drought and lose water in the uper of the fluvial fan i wet seaon. The stable isotpic dat and plots qualify the groundwater mixng, exchange btwen aquifers, groundwater flow path. The sources to moderate rgionalquifer wer identifed withsotpic dat. Environmental isotpes providesignficant and specif hydraulicnformation i hydrolgical studies. Keywords: North Okangan, Stable isotpes, urface water-goundwater interactions, Groundwater sytem, Mountain System Recharge |
