Abstract/Description or Keywords The Rosebery Highlands water system draws water from a groundwater well. Residual chlorine disinfection is the only treatment.
The RDCK samples water from the Rosebery Highlands system once per month. Interior Health tests the samples and notifies the RDCK if guidelines for bacteriological parameters are not met. In 2015 the RDCK did not receive any adverse samples.
2. OTHER SAMPLING
The RDCK requested a water quality analysis from the Rosebery Highlands water system on July 22nd, 2013. Comprehensive samples are taken once every five years. The results show that water quality parameters are acceptable. In July 2014 the RDCK also tested for Trihalomethanes and Haloacetic Acids. These results summarized in Appendix B, show results show are acceptable
