Clay Tippett representing Wasa Lake Land Improvement District (WLLID) requested McElhanney to review alternative flood protection measures as a result of 2012 flooding. This report presents the results of our preliminary review of the alternatives and makes recommendations for the further protective works. The area around Wasa Lake has been subject to flooding over the years. Records of water levels have been maintained and reports have been written related to water levels, flooding protective works and other concerns around Wasa Lake. As part of this study those reports and records have been reviewed as well as several alternatives. |
