This Columbia Basin Plan sets forth the strategic direction for the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program (FWCP) in the Columbia Region. It begins by briefly outlining the vision, principles, policy context and strategic objectives that form the foundation of the FWCP. A short description of the Columbia Basin landscape includes an overview of the hydro-electric facilities and footprint impacts created by those facilities. The priority setting process is then described, followed by a short synopsis of the priority Action Plans. Taken together, this Basin Plan and the accompanying Action Plans present the FWCP priorities for investments in compensation activities within the Columbia Basin. |
