Abstract/Description or Keywords | The Bridge Coastal Restoration Program (BCRP) addresses footprint fish and wildlife impacts in 15 watersheds affected by BC Hydro operations in the Bridge Coastal Generation area, including impacts to fish passage. In 2001 BC Hydro completed a project to assess the viability of providing anadromous fish passage at facilities in the Bridge Coastal Generation area (Bengeyfield et al. 2001). The current report documents the background information pertinent to an assessment of fish passage, and the progress achieved during the period April 1 2005 and March 31 2006. This project was not completed because additional information is required to ensure that appropriate decision are made on which, if any, fish passage opportunities should be pursued. However, this report documents progress to date. aquatic habitat |
