Water samples were collected during the summers of 1997 and 1998 from water wells and from other natural water sources (springs, surface waters, etc.) as part of a research project. Water samples were analyzed for dissolved ionic species (i.e., metals and common anions), and were interpreted in the context of the local geology in order to provide info on the chemical character of groundwater, the evolution of groundwater within different flow regions, and the location of recharge and discharge areas. |
