The following is an update to the 'Overview Channel Conditions and Prescriptions Assessment in the Murray Creek Community Watershed and Twaal Creek Watershed'. Integrated Woods Services completed this report for J.S. Jones Timber Ltd. (Boston Bar Division) in 1999. This updated includes only the East Murray sub-basin and the Twaal Creek Watershed (South, North and Residual sub-basins). The objectives of this update are to recalculate the Equivalent Clear Cut Area using the updated cut-block boundaries, assess the sensitivity of stream channels downstream of the proposed forestry development, to determine the hydrological impacts of proposed forestry development, and to provide recommendations regarding the proposed forestry development. The methodologies utilized were based on the Interior Watershed Assessment Procedure. The procedure included both and office based review of relevant information and ground-based field assessments. Components of the update include and ECA re-calculation and a reconnaissance level review of the stream channels located downstream of the proposed harvesting.
