Abstract/Description or Keywords The Heffley Creek watershed was identified as a priority site for a Watershed Assessment Procedure (WAP) by a working group composed of representatives from government agencies and industry. Consequently, Tolko Industries Ltd., Louis Creek Division commissioned Integrated Woods Services Ltd. to complete a WAP on the Heffley Creek drainage following the procedure implemented by the Kamloops Forest Region (Aug. 1998). Funding for the Heffley Creek watershed assessment was provided by Forest Renewal British Columbia. The objective of this assessment was to identify existing hydrologic and stream channel morphologic conditions in the watershed and to evaluate the implications of proposed forestry development on the sub-basins that comprise the Heffley Creek watershed. The physical information gathered was also intended to be utilized as a database for potential watershed restoration projects in the drainage. The maps associated with Appendix I, J and K are not available on EcoCat. watershed assessment, restoration, ECA, hydrology, channel, erosion, sediment, peak flow, forest harvest
