Skowootum Creek is located approximately 80 kilometres (km) north of Kamloops, British Columbia on the east side of the North Thompson River. Integrated Woods Services Ltd. was requested by Tolko Industries Ltd., Louis Creek Division (lead proponent) to complete the Skowootum Creek Channel Conditions and Prescription Assessment (CCPA) in August 1997. The objective of the Skowootum Creek Community Watershed (CCPA) is to assess watershed processes that control channel conditions so that appropriate rehabilitation techniques can be prescribed and implemented with long term success.
