This report presents the results of an overview hydrologic assessment of the Red Creek watershed. The Red Creek watershed is located 12km north-east of Princeton within the Merritt Forest District. The Red Creek watershed consists of three sub-basins (# 84, 85 and 86) and a residual area (# 83), for a total area of II5.4km squared. The 1997 IWAP results for Red Creek indicated a high hazard for the surface erosion and riparian buffers in the residual area (#83), and a high hazard for surface erosion and a medium hazard for peak flows in sub-basin #84. All other hazards were low in the Red Creek watershed. Refer to Volume I of this project for details regarding methods, treatment of residual areas, organization of sub-basins, and approach difference between this assessment and the 1997 IWAP. watershed assessment, ECA, peak flow, erosion, riparian |
