An Overview Hydrologic Assessment was carried out by Henderson Environmental Consultants for the Rey Creek Sub-basin. This report presents the results of an overview hydrological assessment of the Rey Creek sub-basin, located north of Merritt. Aspen Planers Ltd. (Merritt Division) initiated the study in response to results of the Merritt Forest District IWAP completed in 1997, and to address concerns from the Ministry of Forests. Concerns included surface erosion, riparian buffers, stream temperature, and the impact of proposed forest development. Fieldwork was carried out in September 1998. |
