The intent of this study was to carry out an overview watershed analysis of Keremeos Creek. This analysis targeted the potential impacts related to forestry practices in this watershed. Based on this overview, areas which showed potentially negative forestry related impacts were identified for further study. The objective of this study were to provide: 1) A description of past forest development in the watershed; 2) A summary of concerns in the watershed; 3) A watershed report card; 4) A ground truthing of results by field verification; 5) A final report on cumulative impacts of past forest development on the watershed including recommendations for any additional assessment work required. forest harvest, watershed assessment, watershed management, cumulative effects |
