Abstract/Description or Keywords The report presents the findings of the Year One Conditional Assessment of the Lillooet River Watershed. This study differed from other watershed assessments in that a major watershed was assessed rather than a sub-watershed drained by a creek system. Because of the size of this report, it has been split into several sections for downloading and reading. This study was bawsed on the following premises: - an ecosystem appraoch must be adopted - Watershed ecosystem interactions should be assessed befor "restoration" is initiated - Projects cannot cease at the physical alteration or "restoration" stage - projects only designed to increase production of selected species are not effective over the long term - assessments must be watershed-specific. In total 120 creek systems were reviewed from which 13 were shortlisted for further restoration efforts. These were: Fire Creek, North Lizzie Creek, Soo River, Snowcap Creek, South Lizzie Creek, McKenzie Creek, Rogers Creek, Gowan Creek, Tuwasus Creek, Kakila Creek, Rutherford Creek, Sampson / Railroad Creek.
