Abstract/Description or Keywords Seven permanent channel monitoring sites were established in the Trout Creek watershed. Three sites are on Trout Creek one site in Kathleen Creek, one site of Bull Creek and two sites on Isintok Creek. The two sites on Isintok Creek and one of the sites on Trout Creek are photograph sites only. Channel monitoring will help quantify the degree of channel change over time and will also help one understand the effects of future forest development on these streams. The monitoring information will serve as a tool to help guide management decisions within the watershed. The results of this program are intended to compliment other watershed research and restoration efforts including the Watershed Assessment procedure, Channel Assessment Procedure, and Watershed Restoration Program. Monitoring sites should be revisited at regular intervals to measure changes in channel conditions as well as the cause of the changes. erosion, sediment, channel
