Abstract/Description or Keywords This Reconnaissance Level Channel Assessment Procedure (ReCAP) and Sediment Source Survey report, prepared for Weyerhaeuser Canada Limited, is for the InKaneep Creek watershed restoration unit in the Penticton Forest District. The Inkaneep drainage encompasses an area of approximately 185 km squared, with two thirds of the watershed within TFL 15 and one third the Osoyoos Indian reserve, Inkaneep Creek drains into the north end of Osoyoos lake approximately 4 km north of the town of Osoyoos [Figure 1]. The purpose of the channel assessment was to; review the current condition of the mainstem channel in the Inkaneep Creek watershed and identify channel impacts that are related to past forest development and other land uses. The purpose of the sediment source survey was to; identify status roads that are potential sediment sources and connected to mainstem channels, and to identify and prescribe rehabilitation works on non-status roads that are potential sediment sources and are connected to mainstem channels.
