At the request of Gorman Bros. Lumber Ltd. of Westbank, B.C., an Interior Watershed Assessment Procedure (IWAP) was completed for the Naramata Creek, Robinson Creek and upper Chute Creek community watersheds. The purpose of the assessment was to determine the current watershed condition, the effects of previous land-use practices on the watershed and the potential impacts of proposed forest development. The assessment follows the Interior Watershed Assessment Procedure Guidebook (IWAP) - April 1999, as provided by the Ministry of Forests (MoF) and BC Environment (BCE). |
