Abstract/Description or Keywords At the request of Riverside Forest Products Limited an Interior Watershed Assessment Procedure (IWAP) was completed for the Maid Creek watershed. The purpose of the assessment was to determine current watershed condition, the effects of past land-use on the watershed, and potential effects from future forest development . The assessment follows an interim watershed assessment procedure as provided by the Ministry of Forests (MoF) and Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks (MELP)(refer to Section 4.01. The Maid Creek watershed is located in Forest License A18667 held by Riverside Forest Products Ltd. - Armstrong Division (Figure 11). Maid Creek is a 480 ha community watershed with one active intake supplying irrigation water to the Riverside Forest Products Ltd. nursery . There are two inactive domestic water licenses on the Creek held by the Eagle Rock Water District and South Hill Water Users Group. A Watershed Assessment Committee (WAC) including representatives from the MoF, MELP, Riverside Forest Products Ltd., South Hill Water Users Group and Eagle Rock Water District was organized to provide water related issues and concerns, oversee the assessment process and review final results [Appendix A]. watershed assessment, water supply, peak flow, sediment, erosion
