The objective of this project was to prepare a 1 :20,000 scale map of terrain, slope stability, erosion potential and sediment transfer for the Brash Creek community watershed, Siddle Creek and Ashton Creek drainage basins (an area of about 6070 ha) for Riverside Forest Products Ltd.Terrain mapping at terrain survey intensity 'evel (TSIL) C and interpretations for slope stability and erosion potential were carried out according to provincial standards (see Howes and Kenk, 19971 and RIC, 19962). Terrain mapping was done by interpreting 1 : 15,000 scale air photos followed by field checking interpretation was revised following field checking and slope stability, erosion potential and sediment transfer hazards were determined by analysis of terrain information and further air photos interpretation. terrain satbility, erosion, landslide |
