The Sinmax Creek watershed encompasses approximately 195 square kilometres of forested and cultivated land near Adams Lake in the Southern Interior Region of British Columbia. This report summarizes the results of the IWAP analysis and makes general comments regarding the present state of natural resources within the Sinmax Creek watershed. Recommendations regarding the need for further assessments, restoration projects and/or modified harvest planning are provided in the summary. The objectives of this project were: 1) To characterize the present state of natural resources within the Sinmax Creek watershed and identify existing resource use interactions and linkages; 2) To complete an Interior Watershed Assessment Procedure (IWAP) for the watershed aimed at identifying existing problem area and possible future forest harvesting impacts that may result in alterations to peak flows, riparian areas, rates of surface erosion and mass wasting; 3) To make recommendations regarding the need for further or more detailed watershed component assessments, restoration projects and/or adjustments to proposed future harvesting layouts or schedules. watershed assessment, ECA, sediment, erosion
