Abstract/Description or Keywords This report provides an assessment of channel conditions and prescriptions for restoration of high priority sites in the Martin Mountain study area. The work was done under the contract to Tolko Industries Ltd., using a modified form of a standard "CCPA" contract established between B.C. Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks and Tolko. Funding was provided by Forest Renewal B.C. The Martin Mountain study area is comprised of five streams: Dry, Neds, Harrison, Martin and Laveau Creeks. Summit Environmental Consultants Ltd. (Summit) was retained by Tolko Industries ltd. - Louis Creek Division (Tolko) to complete an assessment of channel conditions in the Martin Mountain study area and to provide prescriptions for channel restoration at the highest priority sites. The contract for the work was a customized version of the standard "CCPA" contract, established between the Ministry of Environment, Lands and parks (MELP) and Tolko, with funding provided by Forest Renewal B.C. (FRBC). Channel assessments over much of the study area were completed in 1997 and reported in an interim project report dated March 2, 1998 (Summit, 1998); the channel assessments over the entire study area were completed in 1998. A Sediment Source Survey (primarily an inventory of road erosion and sedimentation problems) was also completed by another consultant in 1997.
