This report provides an assessment of runoff in Equesis Creek watershed and water supply capabilities for irrigation-domestic withdrawals and fisheries. Runoff estimates were calculate from discontinued gauging stations and runoff-elevation relationships established from nearby watersheds. Water demand distributions were assumed similar to the Westbank ID, while fishery requirements were estimated from data syntheses of other Okanagan Basin tributaries. An investigation into the risk of drought over a given number of years and the effect that it would have on storage requirements within the basin was also completed. water supply, environmental flows, hydrology |
