Detailed or reconnaissance terrain stability mapping of eight areas, at terrain survey intensity levels (TSILs) C, D and E, has been completed for Weyerhaeuser Canada Ltd. (Vavenby Division), Clearwater Forest District. This report describes terrain stability mapping in the Cedar-Cook-Whitewater, Blue River, Finn Creek, and Foam Creek areas. Detailed terrain stability mapping (DTSM) at TSIL C was carried out for operable forest in areas of predominantly moderately steep to steep lopes. Reconnaissance terrain stability mapping (RTSM) at TSIL D was carried out for relatively stable upland areas with operable forest, for all areas of inoperable forest, and at TSIL E for alpine areas). |
