Abstract/Description or Keywords The objective of this project was to prepare reconnaissance terrain stability maps for an area of about 14 000 ha between Snowy Mountain and the Similkameen River valley south of Keremeos. Terrain mapping and slope stability interpretations were carried out according to provincial standards (Section 2). Terrain mapping was done at a scale of 1 :20 000 by air photo interpretation followed by field checking by a helicopter overview flight and ground traverses. Terrain and stability information are presented on 1 :20 000 scale maps on a TRIM topographic base. terrain stability, erosion, sediment, landslide
