Abstract/Description or Keywords The objective of this project was to complete detailed terrain stability mapping, including erosion potential, for two areas in the Paradise Creek area. The information will be used by the Ministry of Forests, Lillooet Forest District, for the purpose of forest development planning.----- Terrain mapping and interpretations for slope stability and erosion potential were carried out according to provincial standards. Terrain mapping was done on 1:17,600 scale colour air photos by air photo interpretation, followed by field checking. Terrain, slope stability and erosion potential information are presented on 1 :10 000 scale TRIM maps.----- This report augments the information that is shown on the maps. It provides a general overview of the physiography of the study area. descriptions of terrain mapping methodology and mapping reliability. and criteria applied to slope stability and erosion potential interpretations. Implications and recommendations for forestry planning and management that arise out of this terrain analysis are discussed in Section 7.
