The objective of this project was to complete detailed terrain stability mapping, including erosion potential, for five areas in the Mud Creek area (Figure 1, areas A to E). The information will be used by the Ministry :of Forests, Lillooet Forest District, for the purpose of forest development planning. This report augments the information that is shown on the maps. It provides a general overview of the physiography of the study area (Section 2), descriptions of terrain mapping methodology and mapping reliability (Section 3), additional information about surficial materials and processes (Sections 4 and 5), and criteria applied to slope stability and erosion potential interpretations (Section 6).
