| Abstract/Description or Keywords | The factors affecting river ice process in the Nechako River have been studied. The ice floods that occurred in 1996 and 2007/2008 have been assessed based on available data. Results indicate that the formation of a river ice jam and ice jam flooding in the Nechako River depends on climate factors, hydraulic variables and channel geomorphology. |
