Abstract/Description or Keywords This document presents the available salmon resource information as as the satus of development activity and physiographic conditions within the Fraser drainage portion of the Stuart/Takla Habitat Management Area or HMA. The Stuart/Takla HMA is approximately 1.4 million hectares comprised of 46 watersheds within the Fraser River drainage. This watershed-based information has been critically reviewed then combined with the authors' site-specific knowledge to slassify individual areas within the HMA as to the current management they require. Based on these classifications, specific objectives, strategies and indicators are prescribed to properly protect the salmon resources present.
