Abstract/Description or Keywords Hydrologic investigations require the summary and analysis of available hydrologic data using standard periods, methods and format so that the information is consistent and allows direct comparison between sites. To fulfill this requirement, a project was initiated in the 1995-1996 fiscal year with funding by the Corporate Resource Inventory Initiative (CRII). The culmination of this project was the production of the report, British Columbia Streamflow Inventory, BCSI (Coulson and Obedkoff, 1998), by the Resources Inventory Branch (RIB) in the 1997-1998 fiscal year. A separate project, and a direct progression of the above work, was initiated in the 1998-1999 fiscal year, also funded by CRII. The purpose was to characterize the variability of streamflow parameters in ministry regions, based on the summary data and hydrologic zones defined in the BCSI report. This work was designed on a geographical basis for regional report publication, in which sub-regional hydrologic zones, or subzones, and graphs were produced that enable more accurate estimates, suitable for design streamflows, to be applied to ungauged watersheds. This report covers the Skeena region as defined by the Natural Resource Operations regions, and presents summary data and datasheets that have been revised and updated from those of the BCSI report (Obedkoff, 2001). The revision includes updated data beyond 2000 and a new normal period of 1981-2010.
